The automatic choice for perfectly
conditioned water.
With the Sentinel 415, sensor technology has come of age in water
conditioning. This next generation of demand-based controls fills a big performance void
left by less sophisticated units.
A standard clock/timer control simply regenerates the system at a set time once every few
days. It can't take into account the actual condition of the system or the hardness of the
inflowing water.
A conventional meter control regenerates the system according to preset parameters for
time, capacity and hardness, as determined by past water usage. But, like the clock/timer
control, it can't adapt to changing system conditions and requirements.
The Sentinel 415 Automatic Control makes its intelligent regeneration decisions based on
the actual, true state of the water conditioner's resin and the degree of hardness in the
inflowing water, not on time- or volume-based estimates. By initiating regenerations based
on actual usage and system performance, the Sentinel 415 improves efficiency and cuts
operating costs.
Features
No Salt Alarm.
If no brine is drawn through the resin bed of the softener, the Sentinel 415
sounds an alarm to remind you to check the salt level in the brine tank and add salt.
Attractive, high-tech styling.
Designed for user-friendly operation, the Sentinel 415's faceplate and cover
feature contemporary colors and styling. The control blends easily with a tank jacket to
make an eye-pleasing addition to any basement or utility room.
Built-in calendar override protection.
If a normal demand regeneration does not occur within the time period you specify (either
4, 7, 14, or 28 days), the Sentinel 415 automatically regenerates the system. The control
also features an adaptive calendar override mode which learns your normal service cycle
and regenerates two days after your average cycle has ended if no regeneration has
occurred.
Built-in power fail override protection.
The Sentinel 415 decides logically when to regenerate after a power failure based
on where the system is in its current service cycle. A temporary power fail override time
of 2 or 4 days is placed in the controller memory. If a normal demand regeneration does
not occur within this time, the Sentinel 415 initiates a regeneration.
Built-in self-diagnostic capabilities.
The Sentinel 415 continually monitors its own performance. |
